Dr. Smith is a member of Bostick Temple COGIC where the Pastor is Administrative Assistant Carl Terrell and the First Lady is Mother Mary Terrell.  Dr. Smith serves in various capacities at the church; Trustee, Sunday School Teacher, Choir President, and Women’s Retreat Chairperson.  Dr. Smith served as District Field Representative for the M. H. Norman District and later became the District Sunday School Superintendent.  She also served as Jurisdictional Field Representative of Eastern Missouri First Jurisdiction.  Dr. Smith has now been elevated to Jurisdictional Sunday School Superintendent of Eastern Missouri First Jurisdiction.  She along with members from the church, canvas communities networking with families, parents, and individuals inviting them to Sunday School.  Dr. Smith is a graduate of the University – Missouri Saint Louis where she obtained both her Bachelor and Master degrees in Education. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) from Saint Louis University.  Dr. Smith has worked in the Field of Education for over 20 years and is a Gifted Education Specialist in The Riverview Gardens School District.
