The International Sunday School (ISSD) has partnered with one of the leading Christian counseling organizations with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). The goal of ISSD is to provide strategies and resources to Sunday School teachers and students around the world. The commitment of AACC is to help the church equip God’s people to love and care for each other in the same spirit that Christ loves and cares for us. In a climate where mental health and mental illness is taking front in center around the globe these two entities together will provide the training, tools, and resources to meet the needs of the body of Christ. It is a wonderful thing when two leaders come together working towards the same causes to impact a life-changing experience of others through the Biblical education with programs from the ISSD such as, Leadership Effectiveness Advancement Program (LEAP), Teachers Certification and Advancement Course (TEAC), and Biblical Justice, having additional training resources from AACC, like Mental Health Coaching, Marriage and Family, Trauma-Informed Care and Coaching, and more.
