This correspondence is being sent at the request of the Adjutant General, Bishop Matthew Williams as per our Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake.
It is with great regret that I inform you of the passing of Bishop Joseph C. Gilkey, the Prelate of the Kansas Southwest Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
Final arrangements are forthcoming. However, we do know that the national home going celebration for Bishop Gilkey will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in Wichita, Kanasas. As the information is given to the adjutancy, it will be forwarded to you in a timely manner. Arrangements can be found here.
