They are trying to create safe places and sustain our youth in this current society. This session will define the challenges of staying the course and remaining relevant while in the Wild of Youth Leadership and Youth Ministry.

Taming the Beast in Them (The Young People): A discussion on the mental health of leaders and the youth they lead

Mental health challenges among teens are not uncommon. Some of the common mental health challenges are anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance use, and experiencing trauma. They can affect a teen’s usual way of thinking, feeling or acting, and interfere with daily life. This session will address how to relate and assist our youth from victim to victory

Effective youth ministry is not done from a distance, but must be up close and personal.
