Gospel Music Extravaganza

The Gospel Music Extravaganza is a stellar night of uplifting music performed by various Gospel Recording Artists and other musical talents.  This exciting event will unfold Monday, May 28, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Wisconsin Convention Center.  The ticket prices are $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children under the age of 15.  Tickets can only be purchased from your Jurisdictional Supervisor or the Red Card Office in Milwaukee.  There are no ticket sales at the door.  For more information regarding music tickets, contact Mrs. Jeanette King by email: [email protected].

 

Women In Leadership Conference

Leadership Conference 2018 will provide you the necessary tools to build a dynamic and winning team.  Team building is imperative in order to be successful in building your local, district or jurisdictional women’s department.  Get ready to receive new strategies, techniques and methods for building a cohesive team and becoming a more productive team member.  The Leadership Conference will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10:00 am. The Empowerment Workshops:  Enriching, Enlightening & Equipping Women to Thrive in God’s Kingdom

The Women’s International Convention will offer two tracks of powerful and invigorating Empowerment Workshops.  Topics focus on: education, healthcare, legal advice, entrepreneurship, finances, social graces, ministry development, women’s outreach, technology, and family dynamics.  The Empowerment Workshops will be held Thursday, May 31, 2017.  There will be two sessions from 10:00 am to 10:50 am (Track One) and 11:00 am to 11:50 am (Track Two).  The registration is free.  For more information, contact Dr. Lawanne’ S. Prayer and Intercession

Come out and be blessed during the early Morning Prayer at 5:00 am, Monday, May 28, 2018.  This is the set time for delegates to rise up and join Mother Frances Kelley, and the Prayer Team in an un-broken chain of non-stop prayer until 9:00 am.  Prayer is the foundation of our ministry.  The women will come together for corporate prayer and intercede for our Families, the Body of Christ, Our Church, Global Peace, the Government and the healing of our Nation.  Prayer is our Best Weapon (2 Corinthians 10:4).

 

Banner March

All Auxiliaries, Bands and Units will march and display their banner.  This will be a march of praise, showcasing  the Women’s Ministries of the Department of Women.

 

Sunshine Band

The International Sunshine Band is a child’s place to be inspired.  The core is the Bible equipping them to be AMAZING KIDS, spiritually and naturally. The Sunshine Band presentation will be held Friday morning. For more information, contact Leslie Pace, President by email: [email protected].

 

Purity Class

The aim of the Purity Class has been to help keep in focus the true values of good morals, high standards of living, Christian virtue, and to discourage all forms of vile behavior that violates true Christian virtue. Children’s Church

The 2018 Women’s International Convention will launch a new, fun and exciting worship experience for children called Children’s Church.  Children from ages 6 through 12 will experience God through engaging worship on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.  Children will have a time to worship with peers combined with age-appropriate teaching, worship, games and fun.  Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the Women’s International Convention.  For more information, contact Mrs. Leslie Pace by email [email protected].

 

Auxiliaries, Bands & Units Training Sessions

The Auxiliaries, Bands and Units transformative training sessions will be held Wednesday, May 30th from 10:00 am to 12 noon.  During this relaunch, your national presidents will develop and lead the sessions to encourage ongoing efforts and inspire growth.  For more information, contact Supervisor Darlene Stone by email [email protected].

Praise in the Park Outreach

The Women’s International Convention partners with the local city, county, etc.–connecting with community leaders and churches to meet a variety of needs for residents within the surrounding areas.  The WIC and its leaders, will be creating out-of-the-box and fun environments to connect with the unchurched and those desiring to advance spiritually and naturally.  Praise in the Park Outreach will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.  For more information contact Supervisor Lee Van Zandt by email: [email protected].
