Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr., Presiding Bishop of the Church Of God In Christ ijoined a host of denominational and other church leaders in issuing a joint statement regarding the untimely killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. The statement referred to Brown as one who is spiritually "our child;" and a child of the African American and concerned American community. The faith leaders stand in solidarity with the suffering community of Ferguson, Missouri, and speak in the spirit of redeeming love, nonviolence, and reconciliation.
