I am exploring opportunities to work in drug and alcohol ministry and evangelism in Uganda.
I became a member of West Angeles in 1993 but moved to Orange County 2 years later I am near Gosple Light COGIC which I am considering.
I am in the path of obtaining dual certification, CDAAC (Certified Drug Alcohol and Addiction Counselor) and RAS (Registered Addiction Specialist). I am completing the 155 hours of classroom education to obtain the CSAC (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor) Level 2, projected completion date of September 2013 from the ACADCI (Association of Christian Drug and Alcohol Institute).
I have demonstrated over the past five years in various ministry positions in the body of Christ a genuine and supernatural love and concern for others that suffer from drugs, alcohol and other destructive addictive behavior. I believe the Lord Jesus Christ has now requested that I grow, to give his people the best counsel possible. I have extensive experience working with adults in a variety of settings including clinical and therapeutic, 12 step, Celebrate Recovery, One Step to Freedom environments where I have obtained skills from personal exposure to treatment.
My resume indicates that I have worked with a culturally diverse population, providing individual and group therapy and developing and implementing individual treatment plans, this talent was partially obtained from my prior successful background and experience in business administration at the executive level, where my interpersonal skills were used to maximize employee motivation, satisfaction and performance contributing to happy employees and families.
My clinical skills, training and experience as a Spirit filled servant of Jesus Christ makes me well-qualified to excel in this position and profession and your organization.
