AIM 2016 ~ Volunteer Opportunity

Are you ready to get involved? Great!

Whether you volunteer for an hour or make a commitment of a day or the full week, your volunteer time is appreciated; as are you. There are a variety of ways you can get involved, and any needed training is provided.

To get started, we need to know a little more about you. Please submit the form below, and we will then contact you to discuss the opportunities available in your area that best match your interests and meet the needs of the Children's Ministry. Thank you!

There are three pivotal components to our volunteer selection: 1) the interview, 2) screening, and 3) matching. Meeting with the potential volunteer for a one-on-one interview gives us the opportunity to ask more about their motivation, skills and experiences they are hoping to use and learn, and their expectations. It's also the time to begin the process of screening; for example, the individual who can't stand children is not the best candidate to volunteer in Children's Ministry. More formally, there are background checks that may be applicable, especially when working with children.  Based on the results of your interview, as well as your background information and church references, we will be ready to begin matching.
