Elder Carl A. Pierce Sr.

The senior pastor of Carter Memorial Church Of God In Christ in Baltimore Maryland. Elder Pierce is Administrative Assistant of Ministry and the Chairman of Auxiliaries In Ministry (AIM) for Greater Maryland First Jurisdiction. He is also an Advisory Committee member of the General Assembly, a member of the National Elections Commission.

Elder Carl A. Pierce, Sr., is the Senior Pastor of Carter Memorial Church Of God In Christ in Baltimore, MD. A graduate of Tyler Junior College and the University of Houston, he formally accepted his ministerial calling to preach the Gospel in 1984; was introduced and licensed in 1986, and was ordained in 1989.

A native Texan, he relocated to Philadelphia and ultimately to Baltimore due to corporate promotions, and joined Carter Memorial Church under the pastorate of the late Bishop Frank J. Ellis where he served his pastor and the ministry with diligence and commitment. Recognizing his love for God, his commitment to the ministry and church, and his charismatic leadership qualities, Bishop Frank Ellis appointed Elder Pierce to the office of Assistant Pastor, and eventually named and public affirmed him as his successor as pastor of Carter Memorial Church.
