  18. I will be praying for you all. Rev. Renetha Macklin gave me one of my first opportunities to use my gift on a national platform. She taught us all in the music world to direct our passion directly to the one who gave it to us. I was first exposed to “worship music” through her music ministry. I’m honored to have met and been influenced by her and her Love for God. I pray that her family is comforted during this time. Love you all.

  26. My first thought upon hearing this news was oh my God, I remember singing under Renetha’s leadership in the Christmas Cantata back in the day when she was the Minster of Music at Glad Tidings, she was such a pure worshiper. I can hear the songs Emmanuel and the song off her album Rain.. Holy Spirit rain on me. Our family sends much love and prayers to the Macklin family. God knows, cares, and comforts.

  27. Elder Renetha enjoyed teaching, coaching, and mentoring young women of God. She was an amazing worship leader who shared her gift with those she encountered. I pray her loved ones will take comfort in knowing the tremendous impact she had here on earth. The Lord used her in a mighty way and she will be missed. RIP Elder, we love you!
