She immediately started organizing and establishing units\u00a0throughout the country.<\/p>\n
She served during the administrations of Bishop C. H. Mason, Bishop O. T.\u00a0Jones, Sr., and Bishop J. O. Patterson, Sr.<\/p>\n
She served through the administrations of Mo. Lizzie Robinson, Dr. Lillian B. Coffey, Dr. Annie L. Bailey and\u00a0Dr. Mattie McGlothen.<\/p>\n
When Mason Temple was under construction, Mo. Hinsley and her workers raised the money to hang the\u00a0illuminated yellow cross that yet remains\u00a0in the sanctuary.<\/p>\n
It can be seen in the background as Dr.\u00a0Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered\u00a0his \u201cI\u2019ve Been to the Mountaintop\u201d<\/p>\n
speech in 1968. \u00a0In the late forties, Mother Coffey interceded on behalf of the children to participate for at least one hour in the National Holy Convocation which was held annually in Memphis, Tennessee. Mo. Hinsley formally introduced lessons called, Sunshine Band Topics for uniformed instruction\u00a0of the children.<\/p>\n
