JoAnn Cash-Owens is Founder\/CEO of a 28 years old 501 (c) (3) non-profit ministry, Family Unification Network, Inc., commonly referred to as F.U.N. It educates parents, youth, churches and communities on how to sustain the family unit in the midst of life’s circumstances. We strive to educate, enrich, encourage and empower individuals and families utilizing a holistic approach and spiritual foundation.<\/p>\n

For the past 12 years F.U.N.’s primary focus has been on Prison Reform and Re-entry. Our state-wide Prison Soap Drive, though our Station-of-Hope, has donated 489,241 bars of Dial Soap to women and men incarcerated in prisons. Each bar had a scripture attached to it. This ministry is recognized by the State of Georgia as a Station-of-Hope – a “safe haven” for individuals being released from prison. JoAnn is certified as a Train-the-Trainer (Station-of-Hope) with HEALING COMMUNITIES, U.S.A. She has trained 11 church congregations\/non-profits in the State of Georgia.     JoAnn is a faithful member of First Corinth Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Dr. Eddie L. Jones is Pastor. Of the many ministries that she has been involved with she loves The Mother Board, The January Birth Month Ministry, The Sanctuary Choir and proudly serves as Coordinator of The Music Ministry.<\/p>\n

    JoAnn certified her church as a Station-of-Hope in 2016. Her professional career involves providing services to “at-risk” families, a population some may consider “the least of these”. She is the author of the book, Comfortable Being Ignorant While Surviving the Journey. It is her journal detailing her assignment from GOD which describes her 1,032 days of incarceration.<\/p>\n

    JoAnn lives in Metro Atlanta with her husband, William.
