\n\t\tJURISDICTIONAL CHAIRMAN RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n

\t\tQualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

\t\ta. The Jurisdictional Chairman must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, dignified, hospitable, and an able teacher, not a drinker, not violent, not quarrelsome, but gentle and easy to get along with.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tb. The Jurisdictional Chairman must be well versed in the Constitution of the Church of God in Christ, Inc., and the rules of the General Council.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tc. The Jurisdictional Chairman shall be an ordained Elder in good standing with their local Churches in the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of their respective Jurisdictional Assemblies, and the General Assembly.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tResponsibilities<\/strong>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tThe Jurisdictional Chairman shall be ex-officio member of the General Council of Pastors and Elders and registered with the General Council’s Membership Services office.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tHave a clear understanding of the financial report for which the Jurisdictional Chairman is responsible to the General Council of Pastors and Elders.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tWork closely with the Chairman’s Club Coordinator of the General Council of Pastors and Elders to ensure that required reports and other duties as assigned by the National Chairman are met.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tDevelop new ideas to maintain and increase the growth of membership in their respective Jurisdiction.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tBe a supporter of all General Council activities, annual conference, national and regional meetings.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tAdhere to the 10-10 Plan in supporting the General Council of Pastors and Elders annual conference. Securing ten registrations and ten souvenir ads from their respective Jurisdiction.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tReport monthly to the National Chairman on activities related to the Pastors and Elders Council in their respective\n\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
