Mrs. Deniece Fields Russell, Educator, Leader, Speaker, and Author, truly understands the power of vision in the lives of leaders.\u00a0 She received her formal education from the Milwaukee Public School system through high school, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee after attending Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama for her first two years of undergraduate study.\u00a0 She went on to receive her Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from the University of Missouri \u2013 St. Louis.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Russell began her career with the Milwaukee Public School system as a middle school English Language Arts teacher.\u00a0 From there, she traveled the Midwest Region as the National Reading\/Writing Curriculum Coordinator.\u00a0 She relocated to St. Louis to serve as Assistant Principal for one year, and was quickly promoted to Principal of the Confluence Academy Old North Campus where she served for 3 years, leading a staff of 90 members and over 1,000 students.\u00a0 She later moved to Chicago where she served as Director\/Principal of the Young Women\u2019s Leadership Charter School of Chicago for 4 years and was responsible for leading the charge of creating, preparing, and inspiring young women leaders of today and tomorrow.\u00a0 In June of 2014, Mrs. Russell was recruited back to Milwaukee to serve as the first Executive Director of Acelero Learning Wisconsin, a major Head Start organization.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Russell\u2019s proudest accomplishments include becoming an administrator at a very young age, leading a school to making Adequate Yearly Progress over a 3-year period, and leading the transformation of the only all-girls public charter high school in Chicago.\u00a0 She was one of the recipients of the first Principal Achievement Award in the city of Chicago in 2012 and was honored by the CEO, along with the Mayor of Chicago, as one of Chicago\u2019s 82 principals who made \u201cexceptional growth\u201d in one year.<\/p>\n
In March of 2015, Mrs. Russell stepped out and followed her passion in order to live in her purpose and founded F.I.E.L.D.S. (F<\/u><\/strong>earlessly I<\/u><\/strong>mplementing E<\/u><\/strong>xtraordinary L<\/u><\/strong>eadership D<\/u><\/strong>evelopment S<\/u><\/strong>olutions) Consulting, LLC.\u00a0 She serves as a Motivational Speaker, Leadership Coach, and Professional Development presenter for urban education.\u00a0 She is excited about building an organization that continues to support the growth of Leaders in Urban Communities, sharing her experiences with educators, leaders, and families who are ready to step up, step out, and enthusiastically serve our children, our youth, and our communities.\u00a0 Her most recent accomplishments include publishing her first book, \u201cA Principal\u2019s Expectations from A-Z\u2026for Students\u201d which has sold well over 1,000 copies in a 6-month time period.\u00a0 The version for teachers and families will be published in the near future, along with her autobiography.\u00a0 She has also birthed \u201cF.I.E.L.D.S. for Young Professionals\u201d which serves young men and women, ages 18-28+, to better prepare them in being young professionals in their chosen field.\u00a0 She is excited about the possibilities that will be afforded to so many young people in the community.\u00a0 She hosts Leadership conferences twice per year (ELI \u2013 Educational Leadership Institute) where she brings LEADERS together from various professions to discuss the importance of serving others as a LEADER.\u00a0 She also hosts Classroom Management\/Behavioral Management workshops for teachers.<\/p>\n After serving in an entrepreneurial role exclusively for 3 \u00bd years, Ms. Fields was offered an opportunity to return to a principal position and gladly accepted.\u00a0 She is married and has become Mrs. D.F. Russell.\u00a0 She served as the proud Principal of HOPE Christian School \u2013 Caritas and continued to move the students and staff in an upward trajectory of growth!\u00a0 She was the first Principal to move a HOPE Christian School to a 5-Star Campus!<\/p>\n As of November 9, 2022, Mrs. Russell hung up her Principal hat and returned to full time Entrepreneurship.\u00a0 She now manages multiple businesses \u2013 She is a Director in PlanNet Marketing, leading a team of Travel Business Owners, she, too, is a Travel Agency Owner, Education & Leadership Consultant, a CBRF Instructor for the University of Wisonsin-Green Bay, and Owner of Framed by DFR, a Men\u2019s & Women\u2019s Sunglasses Boutique.<\/p>\n Mrs. Russell is the proud Wife of Minister Lincoln E. Russell, Jr., serves in Ministry as the President of the Little Community COGIC Choir, serving alongside her husband who serves as the Minister of Music.\u00a0 She is a proud member of the Business & Professional Women\u2019s Federation.\u00a0 She is a sought-after Leadership Presenter\/Speaker in her community and beyond and looks forward to the doors God will continue to open for her in the future.<\/p>\n As a lifelong educator, Mrs. D.F. Russell has a true desire to work with educators and new leaders, by guiding them through the steps in creating their own unique paths.\u00a0 Her experiences have not only helped her to become who she is, but has served as the instrument she uses to help those who follow her.\u00a0 She is very pleased with the path that God has taken her thus far, and looks forward to her continued assignments to serve others throughout her life journey.[\/vc_column_text]
