Dr. Loretta A. Howard is a seasoned executive and consultant with a diverse background spanning over 40 years. As the Executive Director and HR Consultant for Word of Hope Ministries, she oversees strategy, operations, and mission execution for the nonprofit’s staff and programs. Dr. Howard is also the President of Howard Communication Strategy Consultants, LLC, where she advises business leaders on training needs and sustainable solutions through gap and skills analysis.

Her career experience includes roles in customer service, human resource management, and organizational development within the banking, telecommunications, and social service sectors. As a former professor at Waukesha County Technical College, Dr. Howard has a strong academic background. She and her husband have co-owned four Community-Based Residential Facilities and a home healthcare agency for over 18 years.

Dr. Howard holds a BA in Communications from Alverno College, an MA in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Doctorate in Human Capital Management from Bellevue University. She is married to Dr. Undraye Howard and enjoys family time, international travel, and reading. A member of Holy Cathedral Church of God in Christ for over 28 years, Dr. Howard is dedicated to her faith and community.
