Bishop Anthony E. Wheeler is a distinguished innovator, strategist, and ecclesiastical leader whose ministry bridges faith, leadership, and enterprise. He serves as the Jurisdictional Prelate of the Uganda United Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and as Senior Pastor of Beacon Hill Worship Center, a vibrant and multi-campus Church of God in Christ ministry located in Madison,
Hartselle, and Huntsville, Alabama. Bishop Wheeler has pioneered a Transformative Ministry that blends Church Planting, Community Development, and Entrepreneurship. As Chief Executive Officer of Collaborative Holdings, Inc., and through his executive mentoring platform, Navigation, Inc., Bishop Wheeler advises corporate executives, ministry leaders, and entrepreneurs in “Plotting a Course to Kingdom Success.” His leadership extends beyond pulpit and boardroom, emphasizing the strategic alignment of faith, innovation, and impact.
Bishop Wheeler’s leadership is reinforced by a commitment to continuous education and development, with studies in music, business, and theology at Alabama A&M University, Faulkner University, and Princeton Theological Seminary. He is also a Fellow of the Tennessee Valley Diversity Leadership Colloquium and Princeton’s Black Theology and Leadership Institute. Among his most significant contributions to contemporary ecclesiology is the creation of the SMART Church Model; a scalable, data-informed, and Spirit-led framework designed to accelerate church multiplication and denominational growth through technology, innovation, and global collaboration. Within the Church of God in Christ, Bishop Wheeler serves as Co-Chair of the Ten-Year Strategic Plan Implementation and Performance Committee, Associate Chancellor for External Affairs for the COGIC Education Commission, and Assistant Dean of the Office of the Financial Secretary Academy. Residing in Madison, Alabama, with his wife Lady Sa’Brina Wheeler, their niece Kortnee, and great-nephew Kaiel, Bishop Wheeler continues to exemplify his life’s creed “The Christian lifestyle is the best lifestyle you can ever live.”
