Bishop Michael Jones

Bishop Michael A. Jones is a respected leader with a career that includes community development, financial management, and faith-based leadership. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Southeast Arkansas Community Action Corporation, where he provides visionary leadership for programs that help families, boost workforce development, and create sustainable communities. With more than twenty years of experience in business consulting, grant management, and organizational leadership, Bishop Jones has successfully guided organizations through strategic growth, financial recovery, and innovative community partnerships.

Alongside his professional career, Bishop Jones serves as the Jurisdictional Prelate of the Arkansas Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. He has also served as the Executive Secretary for the International Auxiliaries in Ministry (AIM) Convention for over six years, coordinator of the National Men’s Perfecting Men’s Cares Initiative, Assistant Treasurer of the Board of Bishops, and Secretary for the Board of Bishops’ Conference.His leadership continues to inspire excellence, spiritual growth, and community involvement at both local and national levels.

Bishop Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Delta State University. His unique combination of business expertise, community service, and spiritual leadership demonstrates his lifelong dedication to empowering individuals, strengthening institutions, and advancing the mission of the church and community.
