Ordained and mentored under the Late Bishop Frank O. White. Although he was raised in a very spiritual household, he was not exonerated from life’s temptations. Negative encounters with the law and poor decision-making resulted in a criminal record and a child at a young age. Elder Mann had the choice to either allow his mistakes to overtake him or be accountable for his actions. He chose to strive to provide a better future for himself.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elder Mann believes \u201cIt was my support system and sought after resources that encouraged me to keep fighting through adversity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In today\u2019s society people everywhere are struggling in various areas of their lives. Elder Mann believes this is from a lack of support and resources. SIYD will give people a fighting chance to overcome the challenges of life and empower them to achieve their goals by developing a support system and resources that will help them become self-sufficient.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elder Mann \u201cI truly believe to whom much is given much is required. I am a product of a second chance that I did nothing to deserve. I will take what I have learned and pour into others and empower them. It is my philosophy that in order for me to reach my destiny, I must help others fulfill their dreams.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
