Minister of Music 8 Week Mentorship Program

Embark on a transformative 8-week journey with our Minister of Music Mentorship program, "8 Essentials of Powerful Productive Worship Planning. Each week, students will receive personalized mentorship from IMD staff and esteemed teachers from the Ministers of Music Course Certificate Program 1.1. Delve into crucial topics such as defining vision and purpose, cultivating collaborative planning, crafting impactful worship sets, integrating liturgical elements, managing logistics, conducting thorough evaluation and reflection, and strategizing for future growth.
Completion of the IMD Music Course Certification Program 1.1 Before registering for the Minister of Music 8 week Mentorship Program, each student must complete the IMD Music Course Certificate Program 1.1

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Students will understand the Mentorship structure, goals and objectives
Students will define the purpose of worship planning, define a clear vision for worship services and align worship plans with the overall mission of the church community
Students will Understanding the flow and structure of a worship set, merging song selections with variety and coherence in worship sets
Students will establish a system for evaluating worship services

Students will create a meaningful worship experience and incorporate liturgical elements within the experience

Students will build effective communication with team members, develop strategies for involving diverse perspectives in worship planning and create a collaborative and inclusive planning environment

Students will develop a worship planning calendar for 2024

Students will set goals for ongoing worship planning development
