There he was raised in the Church Of God In Christ, the church of his nativity and of his forefathers.&nbsp; Fluent in German and Spanish, his career path was solidified when an agreement with God was made that if allowed to enter into Medical School, he would never forsake the Gospel. Married in 1979, called to preach in 1981, graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1984, ordained in 1986, in private practice in 1987 and sent to pastor in 1990, Dr. Amos has had a life of intensive service to family, mankind and the church. E. Patterson.&nbsp; This organization recognized the need for the church to be a gateway to treatment and recovery for persons of all walks of life. This responsibility involves the development of referral protocols for Pastors and persons in ministry who have occasion to encounter people with rehabilitation needs.
