Bishop Jewel R. Withers, Jr. <\/strong>is Pastor of the Williams Temple (47years) and Holy Temple Cathedral (15 years) Church Of God In Christ.\u00a0 He attended Little Rock University and graduated with a Masters in Ecclesiastical Studies from Jackson Theological Seminary.\u00a0 He Completed studies from Boyce Bible School (Southwestern Theological Seminary) with a Certification in Ministry.\u00a0 In 2009, during the 102nd<\/sup> Holy Convocation of the Church Of God In Christ in Memphis, TN, Elder Withers was Consecrated Jurisdictional Bishop of Arkansas First Jurisdiction. The Adullam Bible College bestowed an honorary Doctorate of Biblical Studies on June 1, 2024.<\/p>\n Bishop Withers is the proud husband of Joyce A. Withers for fifty – five (55) years.\u00a0 Together they are the parents of three children, two (2) sons Jewel III (Rosalie) and Jeremy (Glencora), one (1) daughter Teresa (LaDerrick) Lee.
