Bishop Jewel R. Withers, Jr.

Bishop Jewel R. Withers, Jr. is Pastor of the Williams Temple (47years) and Holy Temple Cathedral (15 years) Church Of God In Christ.  He attended Little Rock University and graduated with a Masters in Ecclesiastical Studies from Jackson Theological Seminary.  He Completed studies from Boyce Bible School (Southwestern Theological Seminary) with a Certification in Ministry.  In 2009, during the 102^nd Holy Convocation of the Church Of God In Christ in Memphis, TN, Elder Withers was Consecrated Jurisdictional Bishop of Arkansas First Jurisdiction. The Adullam Bible College bestowed an honorary Doctorate of Biblical Studies on June 1, 2024.

Bishop Withers is the proud husband of Joyce A. Withers for fifty – five (55) years.  Together they are the parents of three children, two (2) sons Jewel III (Rosalie) and Jeremy (Glencora), one (1) daughter Teresa (LaDerrick) Lee. They also have six (6) grandchildren:  Jewel IV, Angel, Kennedi, Jonathan, Jared and Olivia.
