Dr. Diana Chandler Banks

Trusted, Prayerful, and a Constitutional Expert

Dr. Diana Chandler Banks is a respected leader, accomplished executive, author, and anointed woman of God with a lifelong dedication to service in the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC). For more than 24 years, she faithfully served as Jurisdictional Supervisor and now holds the honorable title of Supervisor Emerita. A devoted member of New Hope COGIC, Dr. Banks serves as a Church Mother and is often called a “Modern Day Deborah.” Her guiding scripture, Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” —continues to shape her life and leadership.

Dr. Banks currently serves as an Associate Justice on the COGIC Judiciary Board and is asking for your vote for re-election to continue this vital work. Within the national church, she has held roles such as Chairman of the Resolution Committee, member of the Executive Committee, Financial Secretary of the Special Convention Committee, and Advisory Board Member in the International Women’s Department. Mentored by the late Mother Willie Mae Rivers, Dr. Banks created the first New Supervisor Orientation Manual and taught the class faithfully for seven years, inspiring women leaders to serve with excellence and purpose.

Beyond her service to the Church, Dr. Banks is a retired Fortune 500 corporate executive, where she managed over 1,300 union employees across a three-state area, gaining extensive expertise in grievances and arbitrations. She is the author of two books — Obedience Is Better Than Sacrifice and Success Through Metrics — and hosts the popular Mama D Talk Show, reaching a weekly audience of more than 1.1 million listeners across Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina.

Dr. Banks holds a Master’s in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate in Theology, embodying excellence, integrity, and Spirit-led, constitutionally informed leadership in every sphere of service.
