BISHOP TOMÁS J. REYES

Born in Rio Bravo Tamaulipas Mexico.

Married to Claudia Reyes and dedicated to his family for the past 36 years.

With 4 sons, 1 daughter and 4 grandchildren.

He is passionate about serving in the EVANGELISTIC area. Bringing many people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ by preaching the Góspel, praying for the sick, and being witness of many miracles.

With constant trips during the year and tent meetings, he continues preaching all over Mexico. Central America and the Caribbean. Establishing many churches throughout the years.

Also an entrepreneur man and knowledgeable in the insurance industry. From 1998 to 2005, he held high positions of authority in the company where he worked at, but in November 2005, he retired to serve Christ full time.

In 2007 he met and befriended Pastor Maurice Green, whom he later invited to preach in many different places in Mexico. While serving in the position of translator.

Over time, Brother Maurice took the position of Bishop of Mexico and I took position as an Elder. we worked together to establish COGIC MEXICO. From one church in Reynosa Mexico we grew to 44 churches, at the time that our Bishop was nominated to Texas southwest.

We thank Bishop J Drew Sheard who gave me the opportunity to serve now as Bishop of Mexico. Today with the help of God our jurisdiction is now made up of 71 churches and soon we will anoint our first leaders who will take the position of elders in COGIC.

Legally we have our formation in Mexico before the authorities and we are recognized as the Church of God in Christ.
