SUPERVISOR MILDRED L. LINZY

Supervisor Linzy is a dedicated candidate for the Board of Trustees, embodying a third-generation member of the Church of God in Christ. Her leadership spans all levels of the church, with over 10 years as a Trustee at Kelsey Temple COGIC and served as Chairperson of many committees for her local church.

Her extensive jurisdictional experience includes over 35 years as a District Sunday School Field Representative, State Ways and Means Chairperson for the Women’s Department, and various roles supporting church leadership. She is recognized for her strong work ethic, outstanding communication skills, and attention to detail—qualities essential for the Board of Trustees.

On a Jurisdictional level, she serves as the Supervisor of Grace Fifth Jurisdiction of Virginia, and a formal Supervisor of South Korea for 15 years. On the National level, she is a member of the National Board of Trustees, a Senior Advisor to the Presiding Bishop, and the Chairperson of the Resolution Committee for the National Women’s Dept. She also served as Personnel Manager and produced the first Personnel Manual for the Church of God in Christ. She held several key positions, including Vice Chair of the National Board of Trustees, served on the National Publishing Board, and the Job Description Committee for the GA.

She was employed for 30 years with the U.S. Treasury Department, was an educator for PG County Public School System, and was A Multi Couture Affair Manager for Bowie State University. Supervisor Linzy is known for her integrity and respect in church and secular communities, making her an ideal fit for the Board of Trustees.

Her accomplishments include participating in a $5 million investment on Wall Street for the National Church, preparing Transitional Procedures for the Financial Counsel of the National Church, and serving as the HR person for the Board of Trustees. She continues to serve on various committees, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and leadership within the church. She was recognized as one of the most influential Women of GOGIC. Her unwavering dedication and extensive experience make her a vital asset to any organization.
