MISSIONARY T. LYNN SMITH
Dr. T. Lynn Smith is a dynamic teacher known for her engaging and insightful instruction, which blends education, research, and prayer to provide a profound spiritual experience. She currently serves as the Secretary for the National Board of Trustees, Program Manager for the COGIC Solutions Economic Development team, and member of the Codification Committee for the General Assembly. Locally, she is the Chairperson of the Trustee Board at Hinsley Temple Church of God In Christ and the Jurisdictional Secretary for the North Central Georgia Jurisdiction.
Dr. Smith’s diverse educational background is a testament to her commitment to learning and growth. She holds an Appraiser Certificate, a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s in Management, a Master’s in Christian Ministry, a Doctorate in Sacred Music, and a LifeWorks coaching certification. She is also pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University.
In addition to her teaching and leadership roles, Dr. Smith is the Program Director for The Salvation Army Southern Territory’s Jack McDowell School for Leadership and Educational Development, CEO/President of Real Solutions of Georgia, Inc., and Executive Director of Expressmi Music.
She has authored “A Comprehensive Guide To Music Ministry” and released a CD, “Just Praise & Worship.” She actively contributes to various Church Of God In Christ initiatives and serves as the Regional President of the Southeast Region Department of Music.
Dr. Smith’s passion for developing leaders is palpable in her work. Her commitment to writing music and intercessory prayer is equally inspiring. She is currently working on her second book, “No Ceilings,” and “The Directors Class with Dr. T. Lynn Smith, an interactive Leadership Guide,” which will be released in 2025. Her ability to connect with diverse audiences continues to open doors for her ministry and leadership.
