BISHOP DICKERSON L. S. WELLS
Dickerson L. S. Wells, in whom God has placed all five gifts as recorded in Ephesians 4:11 (NKJV), Pastor Wells has used these gifts to equip the Saints for ministry and to edify the body of Christ.
Pastor Wells travels extensively ministering on a national and international scale, however his first devotion is to his wife, Valesa and their four children: sons Dickerson II and Chandler and daughters ZaQuita and Chantelle.
A former Memphis City School educator, he received a Bachelor of Arts in English from LeMoyne-Owen College and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. He was awarded a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry and an earned Doctorate of Ministry from the Memphis Theological Seminary.
He serves as Pastor of Bethel Church with campuses in Memphis and Munford, Tennessee. He is also the founding Pastor of King of Glory Church in Rossville, Tennessee.
In 2023, Pastor Wells authored his first book The Dangers Servants Face. This insightful writing was followed by two others including Serving in Quiet Dignity: the Ministry of Servanthood and The Ministry of Service, Protocal, Order, and Worship. He is honored to have published works included in the African American Devotional Study Bible.
He was christened by the late Presiding Bishop Louis Henry Ford in Chicago, Illinois and he was ordained by the late Presiding Bishop J. O. Patterson, Sr. Pastor Wells has served as Chief Operating Officer Headquarters Operations; Four term elected member National Board of Trustees serving three terms as Secretary; Holy Convocation Coordinator; Superintendent of National Properties; Director, Saints Academy Operations; Scribe, National Adjutancy; Administrative Assistant to the Bishop; District Superintendent; Jurisdictional YPWW President; Evangelist President; and, Chairman of AIM Convention.
He was consecrated to the episcopacy in 2015 and currently serves the denomination as the Adjutant General.
