Darin Burns is a Member of the Church of God In Christ Board of Trustees and is currently serving his second 4-year term. He is the Founder and Pastor of Downriver Christian Center Church in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Darin Burns is a 4th Generation Member of the Church of God in Christ.
Accomplishments as COGIC Board of Trustee Member
- Darin Led the renovation of the Lelia Mason Building on the Church of God In Christ Headquarters Campus. The facility was dedicated in 2016.
- Chairman of the COGIC Pontotoc Board that coordinates affordable housing projects for the Church of God In Christ
- In 2018, Led the Purchase and Acquisition of the Pontotoc Townhomes (Owens Place Townhomes), an eighty-one (81) unit affordable housing site in Downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
- Directing New Construction of twenty (20) Townhomes in Downtown Memphis, Tennessee, scheduled to begin in 2021 CY.
- Leading New Construction of one-hundred-sixteen (116) Townhomes in Downtown Memphis, Tennessee, scheduled for 2022 CY.

- DRCC is a multi-cultural, multi-generational, and multi-faceted ministry.
- The DRCC Ministry facility has a 350-seat sanctuary, fellowship hall, recreation center, job-training area, education center, coffee house, counseling area, library, executive offices, toddler area, nursery, and classrooms.
