COGIC Mourns The Loss of Dr. Leonard Lovett Theological Seminary Founding Dean
The Church of God in Christ mourns the transitioning of Leonard Lovett, PhD, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Dr. Lovett was the Founding Dean of our school, the Charles H. Mason Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a mentor, noted author, social ethicist, scholar, professor, and Pastor in the Church of God in Christ. The viewing will be Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 9 AM to 11 AM. The Celebration of Life will start at 11 AM immediately after the family hour. All services will be held at the Antioch Baptist Church, 6531 Little Ox Road, Fairfax Station, Virginia 22039. The reach of his legacy was phenomenal, and his ministry enriched Pentecostalism in general and the Church of God in Christ in particular.
