“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints<\/em>.”

\"\"<\/a>This notice of Episcopal Transition is as per the directive of our Presiding Bishop & Chief Apostle, Bishop Charles Edward Blake, Sr.<\/p>\n

God, who is omnipotent and omniscient, has summoned His Servant, Bishop Clarence Alfred Lewis, III<\/strong><\/em>, to eternal rest.\u00a0 Bishop Lewis served the National Church as Deputy Adjutant General under our former Adjutant General and now General Board Member, Bishop Matthew Williams.\u00a0 Bishop Lewis was an Auxiliary Bishop who served in the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction under the leadership of Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop Guy Glimp.<\/p>\n

During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic resulting in local and state restrictions on public gatherings to achieve social distancing, the Lewis family will hold a private memorial service for this valiant soldier of the Gospel.\u00a0 When the restrictions are lifted, a date will be set for a Jurisdictional Memorial Service that will appropriately recognize the godly life and notable achievements of Bishop Clarence Alfred Lewis, III.<\/p>\n

During this time of uncertainty, we request the continued prayers as well as acts of emotional and spiritual support for the family.\u00a0 It is with great honor that the National Adjutancy will assist the Lewis family and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction during this most difficult time.<\/p>\n
