Are You Ready For Children’s Ministry In Cincinatti?

The Children’s Ministry staff has prepared a wonderful program for the children and youth workers for the 2016 AIM Convention.  We have many activities planned for the full week begining Tuesday 8:30 to 2:00 pm and on Friday until 12 noon. Children’s Ministry serves children 4 through 12 years old with classes, competitions, special events, crafts and hands-on opportunities for all children to take advantage of daily.  Children’s Ministry is a collaboration of all five departments active in the AIM Convention.

Our theme  “Teaching Spiritual Champions” comes from St. Luke 2:52 ~ “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (NIV). Our goal is to prepare all children to grow spiritually through the word of God.

  • Jesus grew in wisdom — mental or intellectual growth
  • Jesus grew in stature — physical growth
  • Jesus grew in favor with God — spiritual growth
  • Jesus grew in favor with men — social growth

If you are bringing children to the convention this summer, please plan to involve them in as many activites as your schedule allows.  We have listed just a few of the great events planned for your child in Cincinatti.  You can see the full list of programs and times in the AIM mobile app or on the AIM website.

Little Angels

Our Little Angels area (ages 4 &5) is bursting with age appropriate lesson plans, actives, music and special events daily. Each session is prayerfully planned and centered on a specific Bible character, Bible principle, Bible story or the Children’s Ministry theme for the week. Our team of instructors are vetted with years of experience working with young children and they are gifted with sharing God’s message to children in early preschool ages.              readmore

Children’s Drum Clinic

What church does not have a long line of young boys and girls that want an opportunity to play drums? Children of all ages love rhythm and love to drum. Our children’s Drum Mix introduces the child to various rhythms, rudiments, and fundamentals needed for the budding drummer. When the children leave this experience they will be inspired, energized and jazzed about the music ministry and drumming. The more we inspire our children in ministry, the more they will be inspired to love the Lord.

Remember to bring your sticks.

What does 10 loaves of bread, 80 ounces of peanut butter and 64 ounces of jelly equal?  To a group of children, parents and volunteers it equals making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Whether you volunteer for an hour or make a commitment of a day or the full week, your volunteer time is appreciated; as are you. There are a variety of ways you can get involved, and any needed training is provided.

Tween Camp is a major part of Children’s Ministry, we are focusing on children ages 10-12. Tween Camp offers movement, hands on learning and some digital knowledge.
